Seattle Coffee Shops
You know, you can find coffee shops around the world and they all have their own flavor to bring to the world of coffee. Oh, I don’t mean that they create new flavors of coffee or that you can only find one flavor at a specific shop but I do mean that the atmosphere and the way they treat their customers brings a unique flavor to the world of coffee shops.
As wonderful as a coffee shop can be, there are certain hot spots for coffee that seems to really draw crowds. For me, it was always Vancouver. The coffee houses there always drew an interesting crowd and I was always happy to sit and people watch while I drank a great coffee beverage. For many, Seattle is the place to be when you want a good cup of coffee and amazing atmosphere.
And why wouldn’t they. This is, after all, the city that created a whole new genre of music so why wouldn’t it produce its own unique approach to the coffee house. If you are planning a visit to Seattle, there are a few coffee shops that are a must experience and I have outlined three of them, although there are many, many more that we could go through.
Bauhaus Books & Coffee:
I love books and, well, I love coffee so what better way to spend an afternoon than at the Bauhaus Books and Coffee shop. It is located in the Capital hill neighbourhood on Pine Street and it features some amazing coffee and equally amazing atmosphere. It is a place that is deemed as a hangout for “hipsters” and the high ceilings and great bookshelves provide both a spacious and cozy feel to the place. It has been reviewed as a great place with good coffee, great food and friendly service.
Herkimer Coffee:
Another great coffee house in Seattle is Herkimer Coffee. Actually, there are several of these located in Seattle but they all offer excellent coffee. Generally, the layout is clean and crisp, some people find it cold and sterile but the clean lines add to a simple approach to the coffee shop. It can be cozy in its simplicity and you can enjoy the coffee without getting distracted by the knickknacks. Herkimer Coffee prides itself on using beans grown on small farms that do not use pesticides and fertilizers so you get to enjoy the full flavor of organic coffee.
All City Coffee:
This is another coffee shop with more than one locations, in fact there are two, and many people praise this coffee house for its great food, excellent coffee and good atmosphere. All City Coffee offers a busy atmosphere that can be invigorating if you enjoy it and it also offers wireless service so customers can browse the internet at their discretion.
So, now that I have outlined five shops, what are your experiences with Seattle coffee house and do you have a few favorites? We would love to hear more so please drop us a line.
